Always Golden is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide financial aid to owners of senior Golden Retrievers in need of medical care.

We rescued Mac, a 10-year-old Golden Retriever, in June of 2014. He was the absolute heart and soul of our family and we were completely devastated when he was diagnosed with bone cancer in April 2015.

We were lucky enough to garner the support of our friends and family to help pay for the massive vet bills - to the tune of $10,000, plus chemo and physical therapy. He lived nearly 3 more wonderful years cancer-free. We were able to give him a second chance for a quality life that he so deserved.

We firmly believe that all aging Golden Retrievers, a breed prone to a wide variety of diseases, including cancer and hip dysplasia, deserve the proper medical care to ensure a enjoyable and pain-free quality of life. We also know that not everyone can afford to give the necessary medical care.
