Artist for the City of Montclair Metro Gold Line Station. Projected completion date of 2026. This proposal encompasses the 270’ x 16’ station platform with a figurative bronze sculpture watching the train leave or arrive.
On the otherend of the platform, is a 15' tower composed of designed glass squares with graphics inspired by orange crate labels and community stories. Glass frit is melted into the glass to create the designs. The design is based on historical and current events.
This interactive project includes both historical content of the city of Montclair and stories by contemporary citizens. Click Here for more information from the Metro Gold Line Construction Authority.
