Spirals: Looking to the Past to Inspire the Future.
Artist for the City of Montclair Metro Gold Line Station. Projected completion date of 2025. This proposal encompasses the 270’ x 16’ station platform with a figurative bronze sculpture watching the train leave or arrive.
Off of the platform in an accessible area, is a 15' tower composed of designed glass squares with graphics inspired by orange crate labels and community stories. Glass frit is melted into the glass to create the designs. The design is based on historical and current events.
