Ryan Finch

I was born in Yonkers, New York in 1991. I've been inspired by creativity ever since, though my mother will confirm that I thought I was the most UNcreative person for most of my childhood. I loved to draw, I loved to sing and make noise, I loved to create, and I was a total scared-y cat.

My family and I moved up to Mahopac, NY when I was 6 months old. That's where I grew up, and I loved it there. I went to college at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY — that's just a 45 minute drive from Mahopac. Out of college, I started working at Corporate AV, which is based in Elmsford, NY — about a 35 minute drive from my hometown of Mahopac. I then moved to White Plains, just 6 minutes from there. At that point, I started to notice a pattern. Aside from studying abroad for a Summer at Oxford University in England, I had lived my entire life in a 50 mile radius.

So now, I live in los Angeles in hopes of cultivating the creativity in me. I'm sure people like me are a dime-a-dozen — moves to LA to chase their passion. Whatever. Weather is better here for sure, so I'm coming home with a sick tan and some memories, even if those are the only things.
