Artist Books
I love to create artist books whether in collaboration or just me. Below are several examples.

The first one, 13 Moons, contains letters to my mother covering a period from 1986 to 1998. The letters address her Ahlzeimers Disease, my personal changes and my desire to connect with her. Letters were printed on an Epson 1400 and inserted into hand folded origami envelopes. Images are culled from the full moon drawings.

The second book, She Was Cracking Rocks illustrates a poem by Terry Wolverton and was created in collaboration with Bonnie Thompson Norman. It won an Award of Merrit from The Rounce and Coffin Club of Los Angeles.

The third book, a sculpture, addresses personal loss. It is 6'x5'x2'. Created with Gatorboard, wood, x-ray, paint and light.

The fourth book is a sample of the Personal Journal Books I create every year. These are for sale. Feel free to send me an email if you are interested.

A Savory Sampler was created in collaboration with Bonnie Thompson Norman, Marion Baker, Kathleen Dawson and Sandra Golvin. Printed from linoleum block carvings and handset type at the Woman's Building and funded in part by the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
