Working as an artist in the public realm for over 30 years, I have collaborated on both large and small projects, had the honor of watching my friends and students grow in their artistic journeys, enjoyed the private moments of drawing as meditation and have had the pleasure of hearing stories from all age groups in various projects.

Public Art

Projects ranging from a living labryinth to bronze sculptures to Metro Rail Stations.

2 Dimensional

I love to draw. My favorite medium is oil pastels and color pencil on Arches 90# paper.

Teaching

I love working with students whether teaching web design, figurative sculpture, digital art or mass media literacy.

Who I am

I graduated with an MFA from CSU-Long Beach, majoring in figurative sculpture in 1980. The last several decades have taken me on a variety of paths including creating and exhibiting sculpture as well as drawings, receiving awards and residencies and teaching art at various colleges.
